Description:
Tourism Permit to operate two 35m Passenger Vessels in the Whitsundays in Queensland - This is no ordinary permit it has approval to carry more than 150 passengers in both vessels. Would suit ferry service or large tourist venture.
Conduct of a Tourist Program - being:
Vessel Operation - using Vessel 1 and Vessel 2 with a maximum passenger capacity of more than 150
passengers across all vessels and using ancillary vessels.
WHITSUNDAY PLANNING AREA
When using Vessel 1, the Permit Holder may access the Whitsunday Planning Area on a daily basis
without the requirement to obtain a booking.
In addition to provision of general services to tourists, the Permit Holder may conduct the following
activities in accordance with specific Conditions of Permission:
Vessel Operation
(not accessing State rivers, streams and inlets)
beach landings
coral viewing
fishing
fish feeding
motorised water sports
non-motorised water sports
passenger transport
photography, filming, sound recording
SCUBA diving
snorkelling
swimming
whale watching
