" Island Explorer " is an Aluminium Plate Catamaran in current QLD Class 1D to carry 11 Passengers and 2 Crew. With twin 150HP Yamaha outboards she cruises at 20kts.
With ample freeboard she is a comfortable, dry sea boat.

" Island Explorer " has transported passengers around the Whitsundays Islands on day trips and also serviced resorts such as Lindeman Island and Hook Island Underwater Observatory.
With bow stairs that are raised and lowered between the hulls, stepping on and off the vessel at the beach is very safe and easy for tourists. Perfect for divers and snorkelers making easy access in and out of the water.
A ground up refit has just been completed. NEW Paint, Seats, Carpet, Bimini/Roof, Dashboard, Plotter, Lights, Lifejackets etc etc.
